Since our inception in 1985, we have enjoyed steady growth in our business
and in the number of people we employ. We currently have over 200 members
of staff spread across locations throughout the UK.
Our success in our core business of IT outsourcing is being driven by a strong
market that has grown rapidly over recent years - and this trend seems set to
continue. We currently manage several hundred servers ranging from small Intel
systems to massive IBM systems supporting thousands of users.
Expansion in the range and scope of our products and services has enabled
us to broaden our in-house knowledge base and has opened up exciting opportunities
to bring in additional new skills.
With main offices in Telford and Basingstoke, and small support teams in other
locations there are opportunities for employment throughout the UK.
Working at Syan
Our principal business is IT outsourcing. We also have specialist software
support teams for IBM software (such as Lotus and Tivoli), Citrix, Linux
and applications such as BPCS. These teams provide both technical and
applications consultancy.
Our customers are 'blue-chip' organisations, with a significant investment in
their IT infrastructures. These organisations are entrusting Syan with their
mission-critical systems.
Irrespective of which division you join, you can be sure of a stimulating
environment, with plenty of opportunities to tackle new challenges and solve
problems: since no two customers' business requirements are the same, each
systems project throws up new challenges.
