AOS Report Manager Highlights
Automatic distribution of reports
The module will automatically select reports for specified users and jobs
and send them to other output queues on any iSeries in the network. Prints
may be distributed to multiple users on distributed iSeries using standard
objects distributions (SNADS) or to other platforms for example UNIX using
TCP/IP.
Distribution based on report content
Distribution may also be linked to report content, since the software
will scan for a specified 'string'.
"In the past, at least two hours of each working day were spent
distributing reports manually. With AOS Report Manager, this task has
been totally automated and any chance of incorrect distribution has been
removed."
Robert Bosch
Immediate Distribution of Reports
AOS Report Manager can be configured so that the reports are distributed
immediately, once they are ready.
Flexible storing and saving of print jobs
AOS Report Manager offers a flexible facility to save and restore print
jobs. The module converts spool files to database files and archives them
for future recall. When a spool file is restored it will have all of its
original attributes so that it can be reprinted to look exactly the same
as the original.
